Set in tropical gardens dotted with trees, Sirai Beach is a private family home overlooking the Indian Ocean from a cliff top in Kilifi. Designed to capture the gentle breeze as it rolls in from the ocean, its interiors and styling are infused with the flavours of the Kenyan coast.
The main house is arranged around a beautiful open veranda which boasts a sweeping view of the infinity pool and the sparkling ocean beyond, framed by ancient baobab trees. Private and secluded, the house is a beachside paradise, the perfect place for lazy days, poolside parties and happy memories.
It was built to complement Sirai House in the Borana Conservancy in the Laikipia region of Kenya, creating an unbeatable private beach-bush combination, the same exceptional standards of contemporary design, style, comfort and superb gastronomy characterising both houses. Having found a peaceful, elevated ocean plot, the house has been designed in contemporary Swahili coastal style. Building commenced in 2016 and was completed in 2018.
EXPERIENCE
The stretch of ocean by the house is blissfully undisturbed by engine noise from motorised boats. Scuba, deep sea fishing, sailing, kite surfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, jet skiing and windsurfing can be enjoyed from a small beach just a stone’s throw away across the tip of the headland.
SIX PRIVATE SUITES
Each cottage stands apart for privacy and seclusion, creating a personal space to retreat yet always in contact with the main house…
Sirai Beach enjoys a peaceful cliff top location overlooking the Indian Ocean in Kilifi, a coastal town situated 56km north east of Mombasa, on the southern side of Kilifi Creek where the Goshi River reaches the Indian Ocean.
