Africa Policy Institute is an independent, not-for-profit pan-African think tank that is providing policy-relevant research and analysis for Africa’s solutions in security, governance and strategic issues. We help governments, civil societies, as well as regional and international organizations create a peaceful, secure and prosperous Africa and world at large. Since our establishment in 2007, we have acquired extensive work experience in the Africa region where we have provided technical and advisory support in the development of solutions to the public policy challenges facing our world and continent.
API’s work is geared towards providing policy-relevant research and analysis for Africa’s solutions in security, governance and strategic issues. Over the past ten years, API has provided technical and advisory support to governments, civil societies, regional and international organizations including the African Union and the United Nations.
