Machakos Level 5 Hospital Claimed
Machakos Level 5 Hospital was built in 1922 to serve the soldiers of the First World War. The Hospital became a health center in 1945 and served as a district hospital until 2008 when it was elevated to a level 5 Hospital in recognition of the fact that it serves as a referral facility for the entire Machakos county, and neighbouring counties
