Ours is a story of love and friendship. We Started the restaurant in 1997, having arrived in Kenya from Lebanon and wanting to meet new people and share our warm culture and amazing healthy foods. The Phoenician Restaurant was established in April 2000 to provide a revolutionary renaissance to Lebanese Culture and is cleverly blended with Western and African Cultures.

The restaurant was started at a time when the Middle East Culture was evenly awaited in the Kenyan hospitality industry. Hailing from Lebanon the proprietors who have been in Kenya for over two decades now initiated the idea and proudly saw it through. Within the course of time: estimated 8 years we have incorporated a sushi bar catering for Japanese food. We now serve Lebanese, European and Japanese cuisines, Teppanyaki and Pizzas. The Phoenician Restaurant has proudly managed to incorporate all the components that make for a worthy dining experience. We work our best to lead the pack in the hospitality industry.
