Naivasha Yacht Club is a private members sailing club located on Lotus Island and enjoys a most spectacular setting on the south side of Lake Naivasha with fantastic views across the lake and also of Mount Longonot.

Naivasha Yacht Club sail single handed Lasers, double handed Fireballs, Optimists and a variety of other boats. We sail in the deeper lagoon area encircled by Lotus island and Crescent island. A KWS conservation area and we share our island with a lot of wildlife. From waterbuck and hippos to monkeys, genets and a large variety of birds. We have a full calendar of events. From family fun weekends and BBQs, training days for adults. A very well attended childrens’ cadet programme, and various racing events.

The Club’s facilities are comprised of a large clubhouse with a lounge, bar and full self-catering kitchen facilities. Outside there are patios with tables and chairs and several BBQs for members and their guests to use. There are changing rooms with hot showers. Bandas for those who wish to stay overnight and several flat pitches for tents for those who wish to camp. There is a boat park to leave your boat and lockable stores for your other equipment.
