Checkout Lake Nakuru National Park Watch Video

Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes at an elevation of 1,754 m above sea level. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in the rift valley of Kenya and is protected by LNNP. The lake’s abundance of algae used to attract a vast quantity of flamingos that famously lined the shore.

On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. LNNP is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives.
