Emerald International School Claimed
The Emerald International School (EIS), a kindergarten to Grade 12 school, was founded on 8th May, 2007. EIS is a business of Green Pastures Tabernacle Church (GPTC). The school is located on a 10-acre serene property on Gatura Road, Off Ngong Road Mutuini, Dagoretti, Nairobi Kenya.
Conception of EIS was first mooted in December 2006 with need for an alternative, value-based system of education taking centre stage with the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) emerging as the best option. This lead to the opening of EIS on May 8, 2007 with 11 students and 3 teachers.
The Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum otherwise referred to as The School of Tomorrow is an international; God centered and individualized system of education.
It begun in the United States of America (USA) in the 70s as an alternative to conventional and secular systems of education.
It has since then spread to all the continents. In Africa, ACE has made inroads into South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Malawi, Uganda and Kenya where it has been in operation for over 10 years producing its first grade twelve graduates in 2004.
