Doshi Group, a privately held group of companies, started almost 85 years ago as a result of the shareholders’ desire to bring together their interests in solutions for building, sanitary, industrial and public utilities applications in a Group which is completely focused on those activities. Doshi Group has grown into a regional leader providing complete building solutions through the progressive gathering of similar companies. The origins of the Group lay with Doshi & Co. Ltd in Mombasa being the first company in the Group, in 1923. Further major steps in its development include the start-up of manufacturing units for Cold Formed Steel Sections, Power Cables and Plastic Piping systems. The Doshi Group vision is to be a world class organization by providing service that exceeds customer’s expectations. The Group will continue to grow both organically and through targeted acquisitions. It will continue to focus on both residential and commercial building markets, in new build and renovation, as well as in a wide range of solutions for the industrial and public utility applications.
