The Anti Counterfeit Agency was established under the Anti-Counterfeit Act 2008 as a State Corporation with the mandates to enlighten and inform the public on matters relating to counterfeiting, combat counterfeiting, trade and other dealings in counterfeit goods, devise and promote training programs to combat counterfeiting and co-ordinate with national, regional or international organizations involved in combating counterfeiting.

The strategic plan highlights our priority areas for the next five years while taking cognizance of past experiences, challenges, risks and opportunities. It is a culmination of an extensive engagement with internal and external stakeholders. The focus areas are, therefore, a reflection of the feedback provided by our stakeholders.
The Plan highlights the following key results areas (priority areas):

Key Result Area 2: Re-engineer and deliver effective enforcement of intellectual property rights;
Key Result Area 3: Foster data-driven planning, research and policy; and
