Chicken Basket is a social enterprise empowering women and youths through chicken business. At chicken basket, we offer one stop shop, from day-one month old chick and above/feeds/drugs and vaccines/trainings and vet services/eggs/chicken for meat.

Our unique value chain One-Stop Shop model addresses the farmer’s needs by providing all products and services under one roof. We sell high quality chicks, feeds, and medication; offer trainings and capacity building on poultry management, and provide 24-hour veterinary extension services.

Once the chickens are mature, we buy them back from the farmer, process and sell the meat and eggs in our butcheries and restaurants that specialize in various tasty chicken meals.

As a comprehensive poultry farmer’s solution provider, we advocate for commercialization of poultry to increase incomes and improve livelihoods of farmers.
